Fine Art Photo Printing

The power of print

The Troy portrait studio features a Canon Pro 2000 with the capability to make fine art prints up to 24” wide. I stock standard luster paper along with a some stunning fine art media options from Hahnemühle. These papers truly bring the printed image to life.

Why print your portrait?

Odds are you are walking around with a device containing thousands of photos. But when did you last print one of those photographs for your desk or wall? A print requires no technology to view, no passwords to remember and no cloud backups to rely on.

While a paper print might not be immune from damage, it’s worked pretty well for many many years. Consider prints as part of your backup strategy.

Archival Print Quality

If you have printed something recently, kudos to you! Photo print machines at big box or drug stores use a dye sublimation technology which isn’t as robust (or as color accurate) as pigment based photographic prints.

With reasonable care, the prints produced in my studio will easily last a generation or more.
